Exciting times ahead for the Wild Rose Alberta. The Wild Rose region is poised to become Canada’s capital of the emerging Agritourism industry!
Community Futures Wild Rose, along with the counties of Wheatland, Kneehill and Rocky View, with the support of the Government of Alberta, have launched their much-anticipated program to grow the agritourism sector in the Wild Rose Region:
The Agritourism Innovation Challenge
Community Futures Wild Rose
Community Futures is a community-driven, non-profit organization that has been supporting economic growth and diversification in the Alberta region since 1986. The goal of this agritourism development project is to encourage and invigorate the agricultural, tourism, and culinary regional operators, to expand beyond the already successful Alberta Open Farm Days.
Alberta Open Farm Days is a province wide, weekend event that draws hundreds of tourists to agritourism operators for tours, activities, demos and food. A large number of regional producers and operators Participate in this event.
So, what does this mean for you?
It means that if you are an agritourism operator, or an entrepreneur with a big idea, you have an incredible opportunity right now to launch new and exciting products and services and quickly get them to market.
